San Diego County Short Sales.
In the last 12 months approximately 57% of all attached home sales and 39% of all detached home sales were either Bank Owned (REO) or Short Sales.
Short sales have increased. For a normal sale the average number of days on the market were 57. For short sales it was 144 days. The short sales were concentrated in properties below the average sale price. Within San Diego County the average price for the 8,232 attached homes sold was $250,862 and for the 20,316 detached homes sold was $499,760.
