Home Staging is a proven marketing tool which uses the clients’ time frame and budget to prepare a house for sale, so it sells in the fastest time and at the best price.  Staging your home gives a warm and inviting feel for buyers and gives buyers much needed ideas of where they want to live and what they want in an ideal home. A well-staged home captures the mind’s eye and allows to visualize their life in the home. IT’S PRACTICALLY MAGIC!


In fact, industry studies over the past decade show that staging sells home faster and for more money. In 2019 the National Association of Realtors (NAR) conducted a survey of several thousand realtors to explore the effectiveness of home staging in today’s competitive real estate market and found that:

  • 95% of agents recommend that sellers declutter their home before putting in on the market

  • 83% of buyer agents say that staging makes it easier for buyers to “visualize” the property as their future home.

  • 53% of selling agents say that staging a home decreases the amount of time a home spends on the market

  • 44% of buyers’ agents say that staging a home increases the dollar value offered

  • The most commonly staged rooms when selling are in this order are the Living Room, Kitchen, and Master Bedroom.

  • It’s a HOT market, Do I really need to Stage?  

  • Yes, in a hot market, staged houses can sell for even more!  Have you ever had a house sell for too much money? Seller’s want every penny from the sale of their home especially when they are buying in the same market.  Stage homes sell for more than unstaged competition.

  • Is Staging in my budget?  

  • Staging is an investment in getting a home sold and the investment in staging is generally always less than a price reduction. We can work with your budget and timeframe to creatively get your home staged and properly prepared for sale.

  • Can I stage my home myself?  

  • Shows such as HGTV and DYI do give Sellers the idea that they need to something to their home to prepare it for sale.  However, Sellers rarely can be truly objective about a home they have been living in.  In this case, they need a 3rd party independent opinion to get their home properly staged and prepared for sale.  We have the experience and ideas to help you get your home ready to sell fast and at the highest price.

  • All I need is some flowers and music, right? 

  • Flowers and music are great when showing a home, but that is NOT staging.  Staging requires an objective and professional assessment of a home’s strengths and challenges to provide solutions which will make buyer’s find the home more favorable than the competition.
